DIRECTIONS: Follow these directions exactly. This must be all ORIGINAL work – no importing pictures from other sources.

DIRECTIONS: Follow these directions exactly. This must be all ORIGINAL work – no importing pictures from other sources.
Step 1: Get set up
- Click on the “File Explorer” icon on the taskbar
- Click on the arrow in front of “This PC” on the left side of the screen.
- Choose the “Home Drive - SMS (U:\ )”
- Choose “New Folder” from the top of the window.
- Name the folder “class_module”. Example: 7A_paint
- Now exit all boxes
Step 2: Open Paint program
- Click on the magnifying glass (search) icon next to the windows icon. Type in Paint (NOT Paint 3D)
Step 3: Complete the following projects
Project #1
- Design a flag for our school.
- Your flag must have at least three different colors.
- You must have the name of our school on the flag.
- When you are finished, save your work in the folder we created in Step 1. (File, Save as)
Project #2
- Design a “new” cartoon character. Be creative!
- You must use at least five different colors.
- Type “Designed by” and your name somewhere near your character.
- When you are finished, save your work in the folder we created in Step 1. (File, Save as)
Project #3
- Design a picture that contains the following:
- At least one building (a house, a barn, skyscraper, store, school, library, etc.)
- A sky with clouds and a sun or a moon. You can add stars if it’s a night picture.
- At least two trees
- At least five flowers
- At least two animals (no snakes unless they are VERY detailed.
- Other items may be added as you wish (car, swing set, bike, people, etc)
- When you are finished, save your work in the folder we created in Step 1. (File, Save as)
Step 4: Written Report
